The magazine KoffietCacao has collaborated with Gabriela Sánchez y Sánchez de la Barquera to publish her drawings in four different covers. They launched the issue during the Coffee Festival in Amsterdam with a beaitiful stunning stand!

GSYSB is proud of being part of ASTRO+DIEZ+Luces de Libertad catalogue

Gabriela Sánchez y Sánchez de la Barquera has been asked by DIEZ in collaboration with ASTRO lighting to intervene one eclipse ASTRO lamp with a hand drawing made during her stay last July in Mexico City. 

The lamp has been part of an auction in profit of Pro Mujeres Cautivas, a Mexican charity helping the social re-location of incarcerated women.  

The piece, together with other 20, will be exhibited at BLEND during Design Week Mexico

Tag CDMX festival has invited GSYSB to Mexico City to give a workshop on Creative Identity

GSYSB DE LA CREATIVIDAD TEXTIL A TAGCDMX

Gabriela Sánchez y Sánchez de la Barquera es una de las diseñadoras más activas y versátiles de nuestro país. Ella combina sus ideas coloridas con sus conocimientos en ejecución y lo logra bastante bien.

Nació y creció en la CDMX, pero se gradúo de la Academia de Diseño de Eindhoven, en los Países Bajos. Desde 2010 dirige su propio estudio GSYSB –Gabriela Sánchez y Sánchez de Barquera- y sus creaciones incluyen diseño de impresión textil, joyería y dibujo.

Desde 2012 esta talentosa trabaja también en la creación de textiles en la empresa Vlisco, una marca holandesa de moda que ha servido de gran inspiración para los diseñadores más high fashion en la industria.

Esta nerd con buen gusto va a dar un taller de identidad creativa. ¿Qué es eso? Bueno pues, nos van a enseñar los básicos sobre la creación de repetición y técnicas de impresión en estampado textil y nos va a dar tips básicos para motivar el autoconocimiento creativo, despertar las fortalezas de cada uno, pulir talentos y enseñar sobre la identidad de autor.

El objetivo será guiarnos y motivarnos en el proceso de identificación con la creación y entender que cada proyecto tiene una manera diferente de presentarse.
